Condos: Some stream of consciousness thoughts - at the ground level what can you do architecturally to allow for retailers to claim some sort of individuality with their storefronts? At the second floor of the condos there are substantially sized inside spaces - what happens in the trapezoidal spaces without natural lights with doors on most of the surfaces? Think about this as one pass at the condos. Take a step away from the design and reflect on what you have created: do the retail spaces work (where is storage? how are deliveries made? Where does signage go?), Would you rent one of the condo units (what are the amenities that make you say yes? what are the drawbacks that would make you reconsider?). What about materiality? Overall form? Response to the site and context?
